Notice is hereby given that the City of Romulus Board of Zoning Appeals will hold a public hear-
ing at
6:00 p.m. on Monday, July 18 2016
for the purpose of considering variance requests from
the Zoning Ordinance for InSite Realty to consider the following:
1. BZA-2016-014;
Access from Class A Road.
A variance from Section 11.12(d)(3) is requested
since access to the proposed warehouse will be from Pine Road, which is not a Class A road as
required.
2. BZA-2016-015;
Fence Location.
A variance from Section 13.03(b)(3) is requested to allow a
fence in the front yard setback along Pennsylvania Road. The ordinance requires fences in indus-
trial districts to be set back a distance equal to the front yard setback which is 60 feet.
3. BZA-2016-016;
Lighting.
A variance from Section 13.05(b) is requested to reduce the minimum
light intensity level required and Section 13.05(e) to allow a light pole taller than 25 feet.
4. BZA-2016-017;
Wetland Setback.
A variance from Section 8.04(b)(7)) is requested to allow a
reduction in the required setback from regulated wetlands. The ordinance requires a 25-foot set-
back from natural features and the applicant is requesting to reduce this setback in certain areas.
The construction of a 500,000-sq. ft. industrial warehouse building is proposed. The subject proper-
ty is located at the northwest corner of I-275 and Pennsylvania. DP#: 80-128-99-0002-000, 128-99-
0004-003, 128-99-0001-702, and 127-99-0023-702.
The public hearing will be held at the Romulus City Hall Council Chambers, 11111 Wayne Road,
Romulus MI 48174-1485. Copies of the application are available for review at City Hall during reg-
ular business hours. All interested parties are encouraged to attend and will be given an opportunity

ACCESS TO PUBLIC MEETINGS
The Charter Township of Canton will provide necessary, reasonable auxiliary aids and services to individuals with disabilities at
the meeting/hearing upon notice to the Charter Township of Canton.
In accordance with the requirements of Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 ("ADA"), the Charter Township
of Canton will not discriminate against qualified individuals with disabilities on the basis of disability in its services, programs,
or activities.
Employment:
The Charter Township of Canton does not discriminate on the basis of disability in its hiring or employment prac-

Plymouth District Library Seeking Board Candidates
At the general election on November 8, 2016, three (3) Plymouth District Library
Board members will be elected. Board members are elected on nonpartisan ballots
and are elected at large from the Plymouth District Library district. Each Board
member shall have a four (4) year term. District Library Board candidates who wish
to seek office at the November 8, 2016 election must file an Affidavit of Identity and
a nonpartisan nominating petition by 4:00p.m., July 21, 2016 with the Wayne County

State Rep. Julie
Plawecki who repre-
sented the 11th
District
which
includes Garden City,
Inkster, and parts of
Dearborn Heights,
Livonia and Westland,
died of an apparent
heart attack last
Saturday while hiking
inOregon.
Mrs. Plawecki, 54, leaves her husband, Judge
MarkPlawecki, and three daughters.
At the time of her death, Mrs. Plawecki, D
Dearborn Heights, was unopposed for her re-elec-
tion bid, according to Secretary of State records.
She was elected to her first term in the House of
Representatives inNovember of 2014.
According to Plawecki's biography on the
Michigan House of Democrats' website, prior to
becoming a state representative she was a former
medical technologist and teacher.
She taughtmath, science and religion at elemen-
tary and secondary levels and for the last decade,
she worked at St. Robert Bellarmine in Redford
and also coached the school's Science Olympiad
team.
Plawecki received her bachelor's degree from
Oakland University and her professional teaching
certificate from the University of Michigan-
Dearborn. She was a 20-year resident of Dearborn
Heights, according toher biography.
Wayne County Commissioner Glenn Anderson
posted on his Facebook page late Saturday night
that Plawecki “passed away while in Oregon with
family.”
“She was a bright star in the Michigan House
and in her first term representing Dearborn
Heights, Garden City and Inkster,” Anderson wrote.
“She was full of energy, enthusiasm and loved pub-
lic service. I will miss her as will so many others.
My deepest condolences toher family.”
Several other of her government colleagues also
sent messages of condolence to her family and
praisedherworkwhile an elected official.
Funeral arrangements were incomplete at press
time.
An Inkstermanwas killed and his fiancé
seriously injured in a car crash last week.
The couple, both of Inkster, were
involved in an accident as they traveled
northbound on Beech Daly south of
Plymouth Road near Wadsworth Street in
their 1999 Chevrolet Suburban just after
midnight June 23 when another vehicle
crossed the center line and struck them
head-on. The 31-year-old male driver died
of the injuries sustained in the crash after
being transported by medical workers to a
nearby hospital. His fiancé suffered serious
injuries includingmultiple fractures, police
said, and underwent surgery at the hospi-
tal.
Redford police arrested the driver of the
2016 Chevrolet Silverado, a 25-year-old
Redford woman, which struck the Inkster
couple. Police said they suspect that alco-
hol was a factor in the crash, which
remains under investigation.
The Redford woman was treated at the
scene forminor injuries.

actions, according to a prepared release. Marvaso will be com-
peting for the national title in Orlando, FLA in July representing
her home town of Belleville and the State of Michigan.
