Local artist takes on custom work
Plymouth resident Matt Durbinwill bring something unique toArt
InThePark this year-the ability tomake dreams come true.
Durbin, 26, works in nearly every artistic medium to provide cus-
tom artwork of just about any kind for clients. There is no challenge
or project he isn't willing to take on.
“That what I love, the challenge of trying to create other people's
dreams for them,” he said.
Durbin is among the 91 newartists exhibiting at the show this year
andwith his concentration on customwork of all types, mediums and
sizes, he was busy assembling an inventory to show potential clients
exactly what it is he can do, which is difficult when that includes just
about everything including oil, pencil, watercolor, acrylic, charcoal,
metal work, reclaimedwood, ceramics andprofessional framing.
Durbin earned his degree in fine arts at Ashland College in Ohio
where he met his wife, Emily, a Plymouth native. After earning their
degrees, the couplemoved toPlymouth in 2011.
