A renewed focus on enhancing
Maybury Farm, beginning in 2016, has
been the catalyst for significant
improvements to the grounds, opera-

the staff are continually looking for
opportunities to increase and improve
the educational components of all
events and activities offered at
Maybury Farm. New farm tours have
been developed that align more close-
ly with the Michigan science stan-
dards, opportunities for hands-on
learning experiences have been
added, and enhancements have been
made to the volunteer program and
farm facilities. Maybury Farm staff
members and volunteers work togeth-
er and with the community practicing
the values of respect, kindness, and
gratitude. All of the farm programs
are developedwith a focus on themis-
